There is something harsh and depressing about their style of playing Blackened Crust, that I can't describe. A shame they disappeared but they left us something to appreciate!

I generally appreciate the album by album move away from hardcore towards extreme metal. Yet for me personally, this is where the balance is perfect. Kind of like Metallica's Ride the Lightning: subsequent albums were more sophisticated and complex, yet less intense, too. Great to come back to, again and again.
